2019 Accelerated Tax Training

Description

This is a four part class. You may take the sessions at any location and on any date as long as you take them in order i.e. Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4.

This class covers the same material as the Regular Training at a much faster pace. PLEASE DO NOT SIGN UP FOR BOTH!

The class is designed for returning volunteers who want a comprehensive refresher and for new volunteers with previous tax preparation experience. The class consists of four 4-hour sessions covering the essentials of tax law within VITA scope, NTC procedures, and TaxWise software. The class is taught through a combination of lecture and hands' on exercises. Volunteers need to be comfortable using a computer and navigating through a software program. This training provides everything needed to complete the IRS certification tests.
