Immigration Program Donation Drive

Immigration and Citizenship

Description

BakerRipley has always served families who represent some of the most vulnerable members of our community. The Immigration & Citizenship program continues its efforts in supporting newly arriving families, and the immigrant community on an ongoing basis, as we support them through their immigration proceedings at no cost to families.

Many of these families find themselves in difficult situations with little to no access to basic needs as they are arriving to Houston. As an agency, we strive to ensure all families can live in a humane and dignified way. Our program''s holistic approach strives to ensure families can receive supportive services, from both our legal team and our social services team. The Immigration & Citizenship program will be having an on-going and continuous donation drive for our clients as they start to take the next steps of settling into Houston. All items are both welcomed and appreciated. Items listed below could be of great use;

  • Baby wipes

  • Diapers (sizes 3-6)

  • Shampoo & Conditioners

  • Bars of Soap

  • Toothpaste

  • Men & Women deodorants

  • Women hygiene items (pads only)

  • Baby items including bottles, pacifiers, baby formula, blankets and clothing.

  • Socks & undergarments for both adults and children of all sizes.

  • Dish soap

  • Cleaning products

  • Laundry detergent

Amazon Wish List: https://a.co/9dMPgiI

There are multiple ways you can participate in our efforts: Volunteers can drop off donations at both of our locations during operation hours. Volunteers can also visit our amazon wishlist and send direct donations. If you are part of a group, program, or agency and are interested in having a drive for your team, we can also accomodate to individual requests. Donations received will be considered as volunteer hours.

BakerRipley continues to hold the line for our communities, quickly responding to the most critical needs. Our work-our mission-does not stop. Recovery starts now, together, and with you.

For any questions, please contact the Immigration & Citizenship Program's Sr. Manager, Guadalupe Tello.
