All materials needed will be provided the day of scheduled event. Breakfast and lunch are provided. Weather appropriate clothing is recommended.
BakerRipley has always served families who represent some of the most vulnerable members of our community. In recent weeks, asylum seekers at the southern border have started to be processed into the United States to seek asylum in the immigration courts.BakerRipley continues to hold the line for our communities, quickly responding to the most critical needs. Our work-our mission-does not stop. Recovery starts now. Together. And with you.During the next few months, BakerRipley's Immigration and Citizenship Program will be hosting an ongoing donation drive to create basic needs "go bags" for recently arrived families. Many of these families have not eaten a full meal, showered, or changed clothes in several days before their arrival to Houston, and these "go bags" will serve as a tremendous support to get families connected to basic needs and food as they start to take the next steps of settling into Houston.Further details and list of items needed will be provided upon registration.
